Over the duration of this online programme, you'll work through three different sections that are designed to enhance your professional impact. The weeks consist of:

Empower high-performance teams using effective leadership strategies that add value and purpose to your business. Learn to maximise your influence and align your leadership style with your organisation’s goals.
Week 9: Programme break – Orientation to executive finance
Week 10–15: Executive finance
Leverage finance as part of your executive toolkit to make more strategic decisions and improve overall business performance. Develop a working knowledge of corporate governance, valuations, and mergers and acquisitions, and confidently communicate your ideas with financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Week 16: Programme break – Orientation to executive strategy
Week 17–23: Executive strategy
Tackle the complexities of a changing business landscape with a creative and contemporary approach to organisational strategy. Drawing on active Oxford research, explore how breadth within strategic and long-term thinking is key to drive success within your business in today’s economy.

Joel is an expert in the regulation and governance of financial institutions. He teaches business finance on the Oxford MBA and Executive MBA at Saïd Business School. His research areas include corporate governance, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investing, credit ratings, and executive compensation.

Trudi is a global strategist, working with leaders to support them in achieving their strategic objectives. She is a key faculty member at Saïd Business School, where she teaches executive education programmes on scenarios, strategy, and advanced management and leadership. Her research focuses on strategy formulation, providing leaders with the frameworks, processes, and space to discover new ways to drive success. A member of the Strategic Management Society and the Academy of Management, Trudi was previously the director and head of Strategic Foresight at the World Economic Forum.
Richard Whittington

Richard is an expert in the field of strategy-as-practice, teaching strategy, and strategic management on the Oxford MBA and executive education programmes at Saïd Business School. He is also a fellow in management at New College, Oxford. An active supporter of the movement to professionalise the practice of strategy making, his research explores the contemporary ‘opening’ of strategy as it becomes more transparent internally and externally, and involves a broader range of people from inside and outside the organisation. Richard is the author of two highly influential textbooks on strategy, alongside nine other scholarly books and collections.
